Girl with Dreams was born 5 years ago.
After witnessing my granddaughter go through the trials and tribulations of being a single mother.
In her case she had me but I couldn't stop thinking, what if she didn't?
From that moment on I knew I had to do something.
As a woman who raised 4 children alone and as a survivor of domestic abuse I know all too well the feeling of being overwhelmed and alone.
That feeling is something no woman deserves to have while raising children.
Especially all while there are a multitude of resources for woman in these situations that just aren't well know and our goal at Girls With Dreams is to bridge that gap.
We look to not only connect women with local resources for housing, clothing and job but to also give back to those programs who give so much to us girls.
Before a girl grows into a women there are growing pains and we would like to help ease those.
